Coup de Bol – A film by Elsa & Johanna, shot on iPhone.

One iPhone. One minute. One film.

The first in Le Jeune Cinéma, a series of one-minute films by emerging French directors, showcasing iPhone’s capabilities and inspiring a new generation of filmmakers.

The story follows a little boy whose bad hair day takes an unexpected turn on his first day of school. With a charming tone and stunning cinematography, the directors pushed the iPhone’s creative limits in imaginative ways.

Beyond the film, we created Les Secrets du Jeune Cinéma, where the directors shared their tips, along with platform-specific assets for TV, cinema, YouTube, Snapchat, retail, and the Apple website.

The one-minute film was featured in regular TV ad slots, seamlessly blending culture and advertising.

The campaign was a huge success, reaching 6.7 million YouTube views—nearly 10% of the French population—making it Apple’s most successful campaign in France.
